HI my name's Dylan and I'm from Santa Cruz, California. I spent a month living with BAC and the family while studying spanish in Buenos Aires. I couldn't have asked for better hosts. They made me feel right at home in their house, and were full of great ideas for things to do and places to see. One of the highlights of my time there was getting to go see some soccer matches. BAC introduced me to a friend who could get tickets and we were able to go see three matches while I was there. Staying with BAC and the Mama not only helped me to learn the language better but also gave me a much better understanding of the country. They really made me feel like I belonged and was a welcome guest rather than just another traveller passing through. I would highly recomend staying with BAC to anyone that is thinking of spending some time in Buenos Aires.

Em novembro passado fui a Buenos Aires para um curso intensivo de espanhol, ou melhor castellano como dizem 'los hermanos porteños', e fiquei durante todo este tempo no alojamento da BAC, que nem considero um alojamento e sim foi uma extensão da minha casa. Uma experiência que nunca vou esquecer e sempre guardarei com carinho. Os amigos que fiz, as conversas durante as refeições, os papos descontraídos, as muitas risadas que dei... Enfim, com muito carinho guardarei estas lembranças, meu quartinho aconhegante e um clima familiar assim como eu esperei encontrar. Obrigado por tudo e com certeza voltarei sempre que puder para visitar estas lindas pessoas. Beijos!!
Hallo, ich bin Micha aus Deutschland. Ich habe 8 Wochen lang mit der Familie von Nico zusammengelernt. Ich war der Erste der so lange war und ich habe jeden Tag genossen. Diese Familie ist mir sehr ans Herz gewachsen, da sie unglaublich hilfsbereit und liebenswert sind. Ich hätte es nicht besser erwischen können. Dazu leben in 
anderen Wohnungen auch noch viele Austausch- und Sprachschüler. Wir waren sehr oft zusammen unterwegs, haben gemeinsam was unternommen oder einfach nur gechillt. Am meisten vermiss ich wohl das abendliche Zusammensitzen am großen Tisch, wenn man zusammen kocht und sich Geschichten erzählt, und das natürlich alles auf spanisch versteht sich :-) Caryna ist eine sehr engagierte Frau, die uns ermöglicht hat über Ostern eine ganz tolle Zeit in

For 2 months I collaborated with BAC in order to work with the non-profit cookie factory Alfajores Porteñitos. The company makes delicious cookies and uses all the profits to support children living in the working class community of La Boca. Working with Alfajores Porteñitos was a great way to get a better feel of life in Argentina because I got to
wake up and go to work everyday, (except in this case the work was making cookies,) interact with locals, drink Mate, play with kids, and help out the community. The program was properly organized, and I never once felt completely lost. The people on both sides (BAC & Alfajores) were sweet and welcoming, and I would recommend the internship to anyone who is looking for something simple and rewarding.
Hallo ich bin Daniel. Ich war 4 Monate in der Wohnung von Nico und Caro. Eine sehr junge und aufgeschlossene Familie. Ich habe meine Zeit dort sehr genossen. Man lernt Menschen aus allen Ecken der Welt kennen und natürlich kommt auch das Spanisch nicht zu kurz. Carina und die Familie empfangen jeden mit offenen Armen und geben sich sehr viel Mühe, 
damit man sich wohl fühlt. Wir haben unter anderem auch einen sehr witzigen Ausflug nach Mar de Plata unternommen. Ein sehr schöner Ort direkt am Meer! Eine Zeit an die ich mich sicher mein Leben lang erinnern werde. Vielen Dank Nico, Caro und Carina!
BAC is a wonderful program. I would recommend this company to anyone seeking to experience Buenos Aires. Caryna and her mother made everyone feel at home and comfortable in a new and exciting environment. BAC provided me with an internship through LBV, they set everything up and made me feel welcome and comfortable. They put me on a schedule that was good for me and I was able to benefit from my Internship. I would work with BAC and LBV again if I was given the chance! Thank you BAC for everything!

While working with BAC, I had the pleasure of being part of "La Legión de la Buena Voluntad" (LBV) whish provided me the opportunity of working with the Argentine community. Each facet of LBV provided a different learning experience as each activity was different. The program (both LBV an BAC) was well organized and welcoming. Hola, soy Cosima, tengo 23, de Inglaterra. Recién terminé una pasantía que Caryna y BAC me consiguió, trabajando con el depto de desarollo social, por el Gobierno de la Ciudad. Apliqué con poca antelación y me impresionó mucho como pueda empezar tan rapido, y como la pasantía fue tan apropriada para mi. Trabajaba en un proyecto de microcrédito, una tema en lo que estoy muy interesada, y además, me sentía como si estaba haciendo algo productivo para el pais! Practicaba mi castellano, particularmente a escribir formal, y he aprendido un montón sobre el pais y la cultura acá. Our names are Olivia and Kate, we`re 19 years old and we did a spanish course for 4 weeks in Buenos Aires staying in the BAC house. We really enjoyed our time here, making friends from all around the world and practising our Castellano. We especially enjoyed our daily meals with Elida and Caryna. They have been fantastic and very welcoming hosts, finding us a place to stay after we returned from our travels round Argentina and looking after us when we were ill. It`s been a great experience and we`d recommend it to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in Argentinian life. Thanks Carina!
Yo vivi quatro semanas en la casa de BAC y eso fue una experiencia muy divertida!Cuando yo llegé, no hable ni castellano, ni espanol, pero no hubo problemas, porque Ely y Caryna son muy amables. Ahora puedo decir ellas son mis madres Argentinas I lived in the BAC-house for four weeks and that was a great experience! When I arrived, I didn´t speak any spanish or castellano, but that was no problem, because Ely and Caryna are so nice. Now I can truly call them my Argentinean mom´s ;) It is really easy to get to know new people in the house, for example to eat together, go out together or study together. That is why I want to recommend staying in th BAC-house to everyone!
