From Germany

Gewohnt

Entonces no estás sola y nunca tenés

BAC, Auf diesem Wegen nochmals vielen Dank! Gracias por todo! From Germany

I had the pleasure of working with BAC! From USA

While living in Buenos Aires I had the pleasure of working in the cookie factory Alfajores Porteñitos which was provided to me through BAC. The company was amazing to work with and I met so many wonderful people during the experience. The program was well organized and we were on a schedule that worked well for us during our stay here. Thank you so much BAC and Porteñitos for providing a very fulfilling experience for me here in BA!
Tiphany Blackmore, University of Washington, USA, tiphersewu@hotmail.com

The program of BAC was properly organized! From USA

For 2 months I collaborated with BAC in order to work with the non-profit cookie factory Alfajores Porteñitos. The company makes delicious cookies and uses all the profits to support children living in the working class community of La Boca. Working with Alfajores Porteñitos was a great way to get a better feel of life in Argentina because I got to wake up and go to work everyday, (except in this case the work was making cookies,) interact with locals, drink Mate, play with kids, and help out the community. The program was properly organized, and I never once felt completely lost. The people on both sides (BAC & Alfajores) were sweet and welcoming, and I would recommend the internship to anyone who is looking for something simple and rewarding.

From Germany

Thank you BAC for your help! Im from USA

Hi, my name is Steven Branco from San Francisco. Last Autumn the opportunity arose to spend a few months in Buenos Aires with my fiancee. I had just left my job at an international bank, and was looking for an opportunity to learn Spanish while continuing to develop professionally. Caryna at BAC and Sebastian at Espanex did a wonderful job of working with me to find an appropriate internship. Ultimately, they found me a position at Banking Consulting Services, a niche finance consultancy in Buenos Aires. At BCS I received an in-depth look at the Argentine / Latin American financial system, traveled on a consultancy project, and produced sophisticated excel models for a top-tier client. The experience has been very positive.

Work found quickly with BAC! from England

Hi, I´m Cosima, 23 from England, and have just completed an internship which I found through Caryna and BAC, working for the social development sector of the city Government. I applied with short notice and was very impressed with how quickly I was able to start, and how well this internship matched my requirements. I worked on a microfinance project, a subject that really fascinates me, and felt like i was doing something productive for the country! I practiced my Spanish, especially my formal writing skills, and have
learnt an incredible amount about the country and culture. As I am considering pursuing a career in politics, especially in economic and social development, this was the ideal internship for me. Thanks so much Caryna!

Argentina! Me re gustó!

Welcome to BAC from England!

Our names are Olivia and Kate, we`re 19 years old and we did a spanish course for 4 weeks in Buenos Aires staying in the BAC house. We really enjoyed our time here, making friends from all around the world and practising our Castellano. We especially enjoyed our daily meals with Elida and Caryna. They have been fantastic and very welcoming hosts, finding us a place to stay after we returned from our travels round Argentina and looking after us when we were ill. It`s been a great experience and we`d recommend it to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in Argentinian life. Thanks Carina!

BAC my Argentina`s HOME!! whit love from Holand!

I lived in the BAC-house for four weeks and that was a great experience! When I arrived, I didn´t speak any spanish or castellano, but that was no problem, because Ely and Caryna are so nice. Now I can truly call them my Argentinean mom´s ;) It is really easy to get to know new people in the house, for example to eat together, go out together or study together. That is why I want to recommend staying in th BAC-house to everyone!

Hello from USA!

Hi! My name is Gabe, and I’m from the State of Michigan in the United States. I spent three weeks last summer living in Carina’s house with her mother Ely, cousin Lorena, and cat Cleo. They are wonderful and caring hosts, and I had an amazing time staying there. The apartment is located in the center of Buenos Aires near the National Congress with easy and quick access to the bus and metro system, as well as all the attractions of downtown, and living with native Argentineans, you have a wealth of information, recommendations, and help. I lived in the same flat as the family and one other foreign student, and four more students lived downstairs. The food was delicious and prepared nightly by la mamá Ely in the form of empanadas, bistéc, ensalada, pescado, y arroz. Most valuable was being able to constantly practice my castellano with the family, receiving grammar, dialect, and pronunciation instruction. I had a marvelous time in Argentina and am lucky to have met Cari, Ely, and Lore and to have had the opportunity of being their guest; I think that my stay could not have been more comfortable

Aló BAC do Brasil!

Spend the time in Carina's house was 20 days that I'll keep for all my life. Since the breakfast, with the sweet words from mom Ely of "good morning" and her life stories, until the end of the day, when I used to say to Cary everything that happened in school, or on the streets of Bs As, and everything I knew. I could practice my castellano and, of course, I made an Argentinian family who was very important for the time I spend in another country. As my first trip out of Brazil, the house, the family and the others students that were there helped so that I could feel fine.
